Book Description
"سنن الترمذي" هو واحد من كتب الصحاح الستة، جمع فيه الترمذي الأحاديث الصحيحة مبوبة على المسائل الفقهية، والكتاب على أربعة أقسام القسم الأول ذكر فيه من الأحاديث الصحيح والمقطوع به، وهو ما وافق فيه البخاري ومسلماً. القسم الثاني جاءت الأحاديث على شرط الثلاثة دونهما، وقسم آخر للضدية، أبان عن علته ولم يغفله، وقسم رابع، أبان هو عنه، وطريقته أن يترجم الباب الذي فيه حديث مشهور عن صحابي قد صح الطريق إليه، وأخرج من حديثه في الكتب الصحاح، فيورد في الباب ذلك الحكم من حديث صحابي آخر لم يخرجوه من حديثه، ولا يكون الطريق إليه كالطريق إلى الأول إلا أن الحكم صحيح ثم يتبعه بأن يقول: وفي الباب عن فلان، وفلان، ويعد جماعة فيهم ذلك الصحابي المشهور وأكثر، وقلما يسلك هذه الطريقة إلا في أبواب معدودة.
وبالنظر لأهمية هذا الكتاب فقد اعتنى الشيخ "خليل مأمون شيحا" بتحقيقه على أصوله وبتخريج أحاديثه على الكتب السنة وبترقيمه بحسب المعجم المفهرس وتحفة الأشراف، كما وقدم له بنبذة مختصرة جمعت ترجمة للإمام الترمذي: اسمه، لقبه، نسبته، طلبه للعلم، شيوخه، مؤلفاته، تلاميذه، شروح جامعة الصحيح، وأخيراً وفاته.
