هذا كتاب يضم نصوصاً منتخبة من كتاب: إحياء علوم الدين، لحجة الإسلام أبي حامد الغزالي (450هـ - 505هـ)، اخترناها بعناية بالغة، فيها نفحة نبوية، وقبس من الولاية الربانية، نستعيد من خلالها لحظات الوحي الأولى، بصفاتها ونورانيتها، تغني عن كل التفاسير والمحاضرات والخطب الوعظية التي تصم الآذان، ولا يبقى منها شيء في القلب.
والقارئ لهذه النصوص، خاصة لمن لا يعرف الإمام الغزالي، سيكتشف الإسلام الحقيقي الصافي النبوي، ولو أن النصوص كتبت بعد خمسة قرون من فترة النبوة.
والإمام الغزالي، يدعو إلى تصوف سني، أصيل، ويقول إن التصوف في زمانه انهدم وانقضى، ولم يعد هناك تصوف سليم، فما بال زماننا اليوم، وسط هذا الخلط العجيب من كل الألوان التي تدعي الإسلام، من كل الإتجاهات.
