يتناول هذا البحث الموسوم بـ"الأحاديث الموافقات العوالي للحافظة زينب بنت الكمال والمقدم بين أيديكم ثلاثة أمور يمكن تلخيصها بالآتي:
1-كتابة ترجمة لحياة راوية الأحاديث العوالي وهي الحافظة زينب بنت كمال الدين المقدسي رحمها الله تعالى، وكتب المحقق أيضاً ترجمة لحياة مخرج هذه الأحاديث وهو الحافظ علم الدين البرزالي رحمه الله تعالى، واستعان في ذلك بما توفر تحت يديه من المصادر التي تناولت سيرة حياتهما مركزاً بالدرجة الأساس على المترجمين لهما من معاصريهما، فكان في مقدمتهم الحافظ شمس الدين الذهبي.
2-قام المحقق بإعطاء مفهوم موجز لمعنى الإسناد العالي، ثم بين اهتمام العلماء بهذا النوع من أنواع الأحاديث، والفائدة التي يرجوها من رواية الحديث بالإسناد العالي معتمداً في هذا الجانب من الدراسة على أقوال الجهابذة أهل الاختصاص والتي نقلها مؤلفو كتب مصطلح الحديث.
3-تحقيق وتخريج الأحاديث العوالي التي روتها الحافظة زينب، والتي جمعها البرزالي في الجزء الذي قام المحقق بدراسته، فقام بدراسة إسناد كل حديث من الأحاديث وإطلاق الحكم المناسب عليه ثم عزو الحديث إلى المصادر الأصيلة من كتب السنة، وهذا الأمر له فائدتان: الفائدة الأولى إخراج نص صحيح مشكول يفيد القارئ عند احتياجه له ويغنيه عن الرجوع إلى الأصل المخطوط، فهو خطوة في طريق تحقيق ونشر التراث العربي الذي خلقته لنا الحضارة الإسلامية. الفائدة الثانية: يقوم المخرج بتغيين موضع العلو في كل إنساد يسوقه وهذا يعطي القارئ صورة واضحة عن مفهوم العلو، وعليه فإن هذه الأحاديث الإثنين والثلاثين الموجودة في هذا الجزء هي أمثلة تطبيقية لهذا النوع من أنواع الحديث.
