من هنا، حرص المؤلف الأستاذ عبد المحسن العصفور أن يقدم كتابه هذا للمربين - سواء أكانوا آباء أو معلّمين، وقد بسّط فيه (12) قاعدة تمثل التربية الصحيحة، جاءت على شكل لعبة الــ Puzzle الشهيرة بطريقة مبسطة ومبتكرة، ذلك أن المؤلف شبّه هذه اللعبة بعملية التربية، والتشابه هنا: "أن لوحة الــ Puzzle لن تظهر بصورتها الجميلة المتكاملة إلا بعد إكتمال كل القطع في اللوحة، إضافة إلى وجوب وضع كل قطعة بمكانها الصحيح، فلو قمنا بوضع قطعة واحدة فقط في غير مكانها، فسندمر اللوحة بالكامل... كذلك هي التربية، فعندما نربي أبناءنا.
علينا أن نزرع كل القيم والمفاهيم الصحيحة في عقولهم..." ويبدأ كتابه بسؤال: "كيف تربي في الزمن الحديث؟"... ويتفرع عن هذا السؤال: العديد من الأسئلة التي من المتوقع أن تصادق المربي في حياته اليومية، ولا يعرف كيف يتعامل معها في علاقته مع الأبناء مثل: أثناء جلوسك في صالة المنزل قام ابنك بشتم اخيه الأصغر أمامك... ماذا ستفعل؟... أو: ابنتك لا ترغب بالدراسة... ماذا ستفعل؟... وغيرها من الأسئلة التي ستشكل الإجابة عليها في هذا الكتاب خارطة طريق مُثلى للمربين وقد جعلها المؤلف تخرج بصورة بسيطة وعملية حتى تكون سهلة التطبيق، ذلك أن أصعب التحديات التي تواجه العملية التربوية برمتها، هي تصغير الفجوة بين النظرية والتطبيق، ولذلك جاء هذا الكتاب رائداً في فكرته ومضمونه وأسلوبه.
