هذا كتاب في أبنية لغة الخطاب المعاصر، وأثر السياسة والإعلام فيها، وأقيستها في العربية، ودلالاتها في الخطاب المعاصر، وقد عالجها المؤلف معالجة لغوية، واستعان في ذلك بمصادر العربية القديمة والحديثة، وقد جمع الدراسة بين لغتي الخطاب السياسي والخطاب الإعلامي لعدم وجود فرق بينهما في خطابنا المعاصر، فالتفرقة بينهما فى التسمية دون المادة، فكلاهما يتحدث لغة الآخر، فالسياسة موضوعاً رئيسياً في الخطاب الإعلامي الذي يعد انعكاساً لصورتها الغامضة وأداة فعالة في مصالحها وأهدافها، ووسيلة مؤثرة في الجمهور، فتوظفها السلطة في إقناعهم والضغط عليهم وتوجيههم إلى مقاصدها، والخطاب السياسي والإعلامي من وراء ظهور أبنية جديدة لا قياس لها في عربيتنا وتعد خرقاً فيها، ولا قدرة لمجامع اللغة في صدها بعد أن نزلت ساحة الخطاب، فتسلم بوجودها، وتجتهد في تخريج لها، وتتأولها على وجه من وجوه العربية النادرة أو الشاذة.
