يعتني بثاني ركن من أركان الإسلام بعد الشهادتين ألا وهو (الصلاة)، لقول الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم: «بني الإسلام على خمس: شهادة أن لا إله إلا الله، وأن محمدًا رسول الله، وإقام الصلاة، وإيتاء الزكاة، وصوم رمضان، وحج البيت لمن استطاع إليه سبيلًا». إن للصلاة مكانة عظمى في ديننا الحنيف، قال تعالى: ﴿إن الصلاة كانت على المؤمنين كتابًا موقوتًا﴾ [النساء: 103]، ﴿وأقيموا الصلاة وءاتوا الزكاة﴾ [البقرة: 43]، وقال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: «مروا أولادكم بالصلاة وهم أبناء سبع، واضربوهم عليها وهم أبناء عشر، وفرقوا بينهم في المضاجع»... واهتم الكتاب أيضًا بالطهارة، ووضح أن الطهارة والنظافة من الأمور الأساسية في الإسلام، ولا بد من تطهير الجسم من الحدث الأصغر والأكبر. وتحدث عن الوضوء؛ فتناول فرائض الوضوء، وسنن الوضوء، ونواقض الوضوء، ومكروهات الوضوء، والتيمم ونواقضه، وشروط صحة الصلاة، وعدد ركعاتها. كل ذلك بطريقة سهلة وميسرة، مستخدمًا الصور والألوان، متبعًا الدقة في عرضها بطريقة سليمة وصحيحة.
