الحمد لله رب العالمين, والصلاة والسلام علي سيدنا محمد وعلي آله وصحبه أجمعين, وبعد.
فهذه مقالات أربعة ينتظمها جميعاً الأهتمام بقضية المنهج في مجال الدين المقارن, وهي قضية جديرة بالأعتناء بالنظر إلي ذاتها, وواجبة الأهتمام بالنظر إلي واقع عالمنا المعاصر.
فقد أنجز الغرب الكثير حول المنهج في دراسة الأديان منذ أن ظهر هذا العلم بصورة منظمة في النصف الثاني من القرن التاسع عشر.
وكتب لجهودهم الذيوع والأنتشار في ظل إهمال علمي غير مبرر لهذا الجانب في العالم الإسلامي الذي ظل كثير ممن أبدي أهتمامه بالأديان يقوم بتحقيق المحقق, ونشر المنشور, أو بتأليفات لا تتجاوز تراث ابن حزم والشهر ستاني بدون أن يلقي بالا لقضية المنهج وجهود المسلمين الرائدة فيها وبدون وقفة نقدية لها ولما يقدمه الغرب.
وعندما نشرت البحث المعنون: مشكلة المنهج في علم الدين المقارن في الغرب عام 1993 كان ذلك أول أهتمام علمي بالموضوع باللغة العربية.
وأفاد منه الكثيرون حتي إن منهم من قام بنشر بحوث أعتمد فيها تماماً علي هذا البحث بدون إشارة ما إليه.
وهذا الذي جعلني أبادر بالموافقة عندما رغب إلي أخي وصديقي الأستاذ الدكتور العلامة محمد سالم أبو عاصي نشر مقالاتي في قضية المنهج في كتاب واحد يسهل علي الناس الإفادة منه وأرجو أن يجد الباحثون وطلبة العلم في هذه المقالات - التي تحمل عصارة خبرتي الطويلة في تدريس مقارنة الأديان ومناهجها في مراحل الماجستير, والدكتوراه, والبكالوريوس - بغيتهم.
