لا يخفى على ذي علم أنّ أطفال اليوم هم رجال الغد ونساؤه، وأن الله تعالى قد منح الطفل عقلاً يستوعب، ونفساً تواقة للمعرفة، وميلاً كبيراً إلى القيم، وهو يمتلك من الإنتباه والتذكر ما يجعله مستفيداً مما يلقى عليه أو يشاهده، لذا لا ينفع معه إلا كل تربية فاضلة خالية من التناقض بين القول والفعل، وبين الواقع والحقيقة.
وقد أودع الله تعالى في نفس الطفل قدرات هائلة إن لم تستغل جيّداً في أوانها فإنه - في الغالب - لن يستفيد منها بعد ذلك، وما دام الطفل بهذه القدرات، فنحن نريده طفلاً يعيش طفولته لعباً ولكن ذلك اللعب الهادف الآمن، وبراءةً فلا يحُجر على أسئلته ولا يعاقب عليها، وتقدم له المعلومة صحيحة ومناسبة لعمره، وإشباعاً عاطفيّاً في أسرته، وتنميةً لعضلات جسمه حسب مرحلة العمر، وإعتباراً لذاته ولرأيه فهو يشعر أنه مهم وأنه يُختار.
الطفل الذي يربى على ما ذُكر نتوقع منه أن يخرج إلى المجتمع شابّاً يافعاً، له شخصيته القوية، ويحسن إختيار الأمور التي تعرض له، متوازن الشخصية، لا ينخدع بسراب عاطفة، يأنف الفحشاء ويسعى إلى العلياء، يهتم بنفسه وأمته ووطنه.
حياته عطاء، ووقته نماء، أعماله خيّرة، ونواياه طيّبة، يحبّ دينه، ويلتزم بالصلاة، ويرضي والديه، ويحبّ إخوته وجيرانه وأهله.
