يعتبر القرآن الدستور الإلهي للمسلمين ومنهجهم لسلوك درب الأمان في حياتهم الدنيوية، مما ينبغي لكل مسلم التعرف على القرآن الكريم وآياته، بل وتأويله وتفسيره على أكمل وجه، وبما أن تفسير القرآن الكريم على الوجه الصحيح والدقيق لا يوجد إلا عند من نزل القرآن في بيوتهم وعليهم، محمد وآل محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم، كان لا بدّ من إعداد تفسير للقرآن الكريم من روايات محمد وآل محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم، ليكون المسلم على معرفة تامة ودقيقة بالقرآن الكريم وآياته وأحكامه.
ويمتاز هذا التفسير عن غيره من التفاسير - مع اعتماد المؤلف على كل التفاسير فيه - بعدة أمور: 1-شموله لكل التفاسير الروائية، 2-تفسيره لأكثر آية آية من القرآن الكريم، الأمر غير الموجود في كل التفاسير الروائية، وليعلم أن نسبة الآيات غير المفسّرة في بقية التفاسير الروائية تتجاوز 15% تقريباً من الآيات، 3-وضع عناويين لبعض الآيات المفسرة ليسهل على القارئ تناولها، 4-وضع مقدمة في الجزء الأول تتعلق بالقرآن الكريم وأبحاثه.
وليعلم أن هذا الكتاب الذي بين يديك عزيزي القارئ ليس هو تفسير أهل البيت عليهم السلام، إنما هو مجموعة أقوال وروايات رواها المفسّرون وأصحاب التواريخ والمسانيد عن أمير المؤمنين عليهم السلام وآله الطيبين الطاهرين، قام المؤلف بجمعها وتنظيمها وترتيبها على حسب سور القرآن الكريم.
