يضم هذا الكتاب بين طياته رسالتين: الأولى جاءت تحت عنوان "شرح عقيدة الإمام مالك الصغير" وهي من إعداد أبي محمد عبد الله بن أبي زيد القيرواني" وهي عبارة عن رسالة سكب فيها الشارح صريح الاعتقاد على نهج السلف الصالح بعيداً عن سفسطة المتكلمين، وجناية المثبتة الغالين، ولما كان على هذا المنوال.
فقد اهتم "محمد بوخبرة الحسني التطواني" بتحقيقه فقام بالاعتناء به تخريجاً وتعليقاً دون إخلال أو إحلال، معتمداً في ذلك على نسخة الفقيه أبي أويس محمد بن الأمين بوخبزة الحسني التطواني، ومنهجه في خدمة هذا الكتاب هو: ضبط بعض النصوص التي غفل عنها المصنف، عزو الآيات التي استشهد بها إلى سورها، تخريج الأحاديث والآثار النبوية، الترجمة لبعض الأعلام المغمورين، و أخيراً صنع فهرساً للأحاديث والآثار، أما فهرس الموضوعات فهو من صنع المصنف.
أما الرسالة الثانية جاءت تحت عنوان جزء في الأوهام التي وقعت في الصحيحين وموطأ مالك للإمامين الحافظين "أبي محمد بن حزم القرطبي" و"أبي بكر أحمد بن ثابت الخطيب البغدادي". وهي برواية عن الحافظ أبي طاهر أحمد بن محمد السلفي عن أبي الحسن محمد بن مرزوق الزعفراني.
كتاب شرح عقيدة الإمام مالك الصغير للإمام القاضي أبي محمد عبد الوهاب البغدادي المالكي ويليها جزء في الأوهام التي وقعت في الصحيحين وموطأ مالك للإمامين ابن حزم القرطبي والخطيب البغدادي ففي الأول شرح المؤلف أموراًفي حلب العقيدة مثل-لا ولد له ولا والد-لا شبيه له ولا نظير-وفي الثاني تعقب الخطيب أحاديث الوهم التي وقع بها البخاري ومالك.
