الصين الدولة الكبيرة في الجغرافيا، والغارقة في التاريخ، حاملة الأسرار الدفينة وربما العهود لبعض المريدين من المذاهب، لم تكن يوماً دولة عادية، بل مميزة في حُكّامها وفي حُكمها، وفي شعبها وفي قدرته على التحمّل، وربما سور الصين العظيم، وفلسفة كونفوشيوس وكتاباته، خير معبّر عن ثقافة الصين وتراثها الغني وحضارتها، التي تعود إلى 5000 سنة خلت.
ولأن جمهورية الصين الشعبية، اشتهرت بداية أيام ماوتسي تونغ، كبلد زراعي ربما ليؤمن معيشة وحياة لائقة لأكبر عدد سكان في العالم، ففي العام 2016 بلغ عدد سكّانها 1.373.541.278 نسمة، مشكلين بذلك نسبة 18.75% من إجمالي عدد سكان العالم، ولكن منذ 30 عاماً خلت، أدّى توسع الصين الإقتصادي إلى هجرة ملايين العمال من الريف إلى المدن بحثاً عن فرص للعمل وخاصة في المدن الكبرى كبكين، شانغهاي وغوانغجو، وبذلك تحوّل نوع العمل من الزراعة إلى البناء والصناعة.
الصين اليوم الدولة الأولى في النموّ الإقتصادي، وفي المبيعات الإقتصادية والصناعية، تطمح من خلال طريق الحرير البحري والتجاري لتشكل شبكة علاقات إقتصادية وتجارية وثقافية، تساهم في رفاهية وإزدهار شعوب العالم.
