لكل صوت راحل صدى عائد ، ولكل جمال إكليل تاج . لذا فإن ما تعيشه ( تاج ) ليس إلا ردة فعل لوئيد أفعال ( جمال ) في حياته . رغم أن ما يجمعهما لا يتعدا وصفه بحادث مشؤوم خسر فيه إصبع من كفه ، وخسرت مستقبلها . بينهما مسافة شاسعة من الخيبات مقطوعة بمطبات الندم . وجدران عازلة من الخرافات التي أقامت خرسانتها الصامدة على أسس مجتمع ذو أحكام جاهزة . فالكسوف لا يخرج عن نطاق الغضب الإلهي ، والخسوف عقاب وتحذير من الله ، وجميع الحوادث الكونية وحتى السياسية ليست إلا بداية نهاية العالم . أخضلت نسائم نهر الفرات أحلام ( تاج ) الوردية حتى أغرقتها وخنقتها ، ولما شهقت رافضة الموت نفتها بعيداً وأبداً إلى لندن . فصارت الحرف التاسع والعشرين لزوجها الكاتب وسام الذي ينتهي اكتئابه بالانتحار . وهي اللعنة التي طاردت جمال حتى أعمت بصره . وهي الانتقام الجاهز والجميل لرشيد من وسام . رشيد صاحب دار النشر وصديق وسام والذي وقع في مصيدة فتنتها قبل التفكير بقتلها . وهي الغاية والمراد والسبق الصحفي الأمثل لعلاء ابن جمال ثم ما لبثت تتحول لسباق مع ذاته وسنه ليلحق بقلبها . رواية عن المرأة الخارجة من مجتمعات لم تنظم أحكامها ، أعرافها قضاؤها . الأحداث تدور سنة 2017 بين لندن وباريس والرقة المدينة السورية المنكوبة . الرواية مقسمة لعدد من الأصوات و الأصداء : • كل صوت يمثل حياة البطل ( جمال ) وهو معيد سابق في كلية الفنون الجميلة بجامعة دمشق ، ومخرج سينمائي نابغة ، يسكن باريس مع ابنه علاء . • وكل صدى لحياة البطلة ( تاج ) وهي فنانة تشكيلية بالفطرة تملك موهبة النحت في الجص . نتاج زواج دام سبع عشرة سنة من كاتب لا تحبه ولا يحبها ، أنجبت من رحم قمعها و عزلتها ديواناً يدعي بأنه ينتمي للشعر . يكمن سرها بأنها تتقن صنع تيجان فائقة الأناقة بتصاميم خلابة ، تستمد وحيها في التصميم من الشعر ومن ذكرى مدينتها ومن تيجان العائلة الملكية البريطانية .
