مما لا شك فيه أن النبوة خُتمت بنبوة الرسول محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم سيد المرسلين، ولكن الأمة اختلفت في معنى (خاتم الأنبياء)، فمنهم من قرأها بفتح التاء (خاتَم)، ومنهم من قرأها بكسر التاء (خاتِم)، وأعطو لكل قراءة معنىً يختلف عن صاحبه.
في هذا الكتاب (النبوة الخاتمة نبوة محمد) يوضح السيد أحمد الحسن هذه المسألة بأوضح بيان من القرآن الكريم... فقد بين للقارئ ما معنى النبوة، وميز بيّن النبوة التي ختمت بالرسول محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم وبيّن النبوة التي استمرت بعده (صلى الله عليه عليه وسلم) وبيّن أيضاً معنى (خاتم النبوة) بفتح التاء، ومعنى (خاتِم النبوة) بكسر التاء.
سيجد القارئ لهذا الكتاب أوضح برهان أن النبوة خُتمت بالرسول محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم ولا نبي بعده، ولكن بمعنى يختلف عن القول بإستمرارها بعده صلى الله عليه وسلم، فلا تعارض بين الروايات، لأن كل قسم منها يتحدث عن معنى للنبوة يختلف عن الآخر، هذا فضلاً عن شرح المؤلف لحقيقة (الإرسال)، وهل إن الإرسال يصدق على الأئمة المعصومين أيضاً؟ على إعتبار أنهم رسل من الله تعالى أم لا؟ وإذا كان الجواب بنعم، فمن هو المرسل للأئمة عليهم السلام، وما الفرق بين إرسالهم وإرسال الأنبياء عليهم السلام؟ ثم ما معنى قوله صلى الله عليه وسلم (لا نبوة بعدي إلا المبشرات، قيل: يا رسول الله، وما المبشرات؟ قال: الرؤيا الصالحة)..
فهذا يعني أن الرؤيا الصادقة كما وصفها النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم جزء من أجزاء النبوة، الكثير من الأسئلة التي يمكن تدور في ذهن المسلم والإجابة عليها نجده في هذا الكتاب.
