وعندما يخوض في تفاصيل معرفة هذه الشخصية يدرك الإنسان سرّ ذلك، خاصة عندما يقف الإنسان حائراً أمام مشكلاته لا يدري كيف يحلها أو يتعامل معها، عندها يتوجه إلى التوسل بالإمام الحسين عليه السلام أو يذهب للدعاء تحت قبّته الشريفة أو يدعوه من بُعد، أو يتقرب إليه بزيارته العظيمة والنافعة، أو يأكل شيئاً من ترتبه المباركة، عندها يدرك الإنسان أثر ذلك على حياته ومجتمعه، وكل ذلك ببركة هذا الإمام العظيم المنزلة من الله تعالى.
هذا جانب بسيط من آثار الإمام الحسين عليه السلام، وكيف لا يكون كذلك؛ وهو أبو الأئمة المعصومين وجدهم عليهم السلام والنور الذي منه خرجوا، وأصلهم الذي منه انحدروا.
أجل عظمة الشخصية أحياناً تُعرف من عظمة الأثر الذي يتركه الإنسان، وكفى أثراً لنا ما تركه الإمام عليه السلام من آثار جليلة لثورته المباركة عاشوراء.
