ان أبرك العلوم وأفضلها وأكثرها نفعاً في الدين والدنيا بعد كتاب الله عز وجل أحاديث رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم لما فيها من كثرة الصلوات عليه، وأنها كالرياض والبساتين تجد فيها كل خير وبر، وفضل وذكر. والكتاب الذي بين أيدينا جمع الكثير من أحاديث رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم مع مراعاة سهولة تناولها والوقوف عليها، إذ جاءت مرتبة على حروف الهجاء، وقد جاء الكتاب محققاً، وكان عمل المحقق فيه على الشكل التالي: اعتماد في إخراج هذا الكتاب على أحد المخطوطات الموجودة بالأزهر الشريف. القيام بمقابلة المخطوط بعدة أصول، لإقامة الخطأ وإثبات الساقط تخريج الأحاديث تخريجاً دقيقاً موجزاً، التعقيب على ذلك بشرح ما في الحديث من نريد بالاعتماد على من كتب من الأئمة في غريب الحديث كالحافظ ابن حجر، والمناوي وغيرهما.
