تعد بكتريا Streptococcus pyogenes من أنواع البكتريا المهمة الممرضة للإنسان والمنتشرة بشكل واسع في جميع أنحاء العالم وذلك لقابليتها في إحداث الكثير من الأمراض كالتهاب الفم واللوزتين والتي قد ينتج عنها استجابة مناعية غير طبيعية التي يمكن ان تتسبب في حدوث بعض الأمراض مثل الحمى الروماتزمية (Rheumatic Fever) والتهاب الكلية الحاد .
تعد بكتريا Streptococcus pyogenes من أنواع البكتريا المهمة الممرضة للإنسان والمنتشرة بشكل واسع في جميع أنحاء العالم وذلك لقابليتها في إحداث الكثير من الأمراض كالتهاب الفم واللوزتين والتي قد ينتج عنها استجابة مناعية غير طبيعية التي يمكن ان تتسبب في حدوث بعض الأمراض مثل الحمى الروماتزمية (Rheumatic Fever) والتهاب الكلية الحاد.
بالنظر لقلة فاعلية المضادات الحيوية المستخدمة في علاج هذه الأنواع المايكروبية الممرضة فضلاً عن ارتفاع التأثيرات الجانبية للمضادات المستخدمة في علاجها فقد اتجهت الأنظار إلى محاولة استخدام المعززات العلاجية أو المستخلصات النباتية في تثبيط فاعلية أو قتل الأنواع المايكروبية الممرضة.
ان من ضمن المعززات العلاجية الأكثر استخداماً هي أنواع من بكتريا حامض اللاكتيك لاسيما النوعين Lactobacillus acidophilusو Bifidobacterium bifidum اذ يعد النوع Lb. acidophilus من أشهر أنواع العصيات اللبنية المستخدمة كمعزز علاجي حيث انه ينتمي إلى المجموعة غير متجانسة التخمر.
ومما تقدم فان هدف الدراسة كان الآتي :
1- 1عزل وتشخيص عزلتين من لنوع Streptococcus pyogenes من إصابات في الفم والبلعوم.
2- دراسة بعض العوامل المؤثرة في النمو وإنتاج الستربتولايسين O في هذه البكتريا.
3- دراسة تأثير التداخل ما بين هذه الأنواع أو متأيضاتها بتراكيز متسلسلة في تثبيط النمو و أنتاج الستربتولايسين O من قبل عزلتي S. pyogenes، وكذلك عزل وتشخيص أنواع من بكتريا حامض اللاكتيك من المنتجات اللبنية.
4- دراسة فاعلية المستخلصات النباتية بتراكيز متعددة في تثبيط النمو وانتاج الستربتولايسين O من قبل عزلتي S. pyogenes وكذلك بيان محتوى المستخلصات المائية من بذور الحبة السوداء والكلغان وأوراق الشاي الأخضر من المركبات الفعالة فيها.
