كتاب "بلاغات النساء" لأبي الفضل أحمد بن أبي طاهر طيفور، المولود ببغداد سنة 204هـ والمتوفى سنة 280هـ، من الكتب الفريدة في أبوابها، فهو كتاب عن بلاغات النساء وطرائف كلامهن ومُلحْ نوادرهن وأخبار ذوات الرأي منهن، وأشعارهن في الجاهلية وصدر الإسلام.
والكتاب يقدم صورة لإهتمام المرأة العربية المبكر ونشاطها في حقول المعرفة، في جانبها الأدبي واللغوي، كما أنه يحتوي على شذرات من الملح والنوادر تهم محبي السمر والطرب.
وهو من الكتب القليلة التي تنفرد بتسجيل هذا الجانب اللامع للمرأة العربية في الجاهلية وصدر الإسلام.
وها نحن نعيد طبع هذا الكتاب النادر متوخين إفادة قارئ اليوم بما حفظه التاريخ بجانبه الأدبي من صور البلاغة في الشعر والنثر.
