لا شك أن المسلمين اليوم، أكثر من أي يوم آخر، بحاجة ماسّة إلى التوجّه المباشر نحو "القرآن الكريم" لإستنباط معانيه وفهم ألفاظه ومبانيه، بعيداً عن ربقة التقليد وجمود التفكير الذي قد يكون أحد أهم الأسباب التي أدت بهم إلى ما هم عليه اليوم من حالة مُزْرية ووضع لا يُحسدون عليه.
والإمام "عبد الحميد بن باديس" واحد من مجموعة من المصلحين المسلمين الذين دفعوا العقول في هذا الإتجاه، كان أولهم في القرن التاسع عشر "جمال الدين الأفغاني"، ثم تبعه الإمام "محمد عبده"، ومن بعدهما جاء في القرن العشرين "رشيد رضا" والإمام "ابن باديس"؛ وقد رأى هؤلاء الأئمة أن الخلاص من التخلّف والتبعية لا يكون إلا بإتخاذ الإسلام منهجاً للحياة في كل زمان وكل مكان، ولا يكون ذلك إلا بإبتهاج سبيل القرآن علماً وعملاً.
وقد بيّن الإمام "ابن باديس" في تفسيره - الذي نضعه بين يدي القارئ الكريم - مختلف نواحي القيم الإسلامية الواجب إتّباعها؛ فركز على مقاصد "القرآن الكريم" التي يمكن تلخيصها بما يلي:
-أولاً: الناحية العقيدية التي تتناول الجانب الإيماني بالله تعالى والرسل والملائكة واليوم الآخر.
-ثانياً: الناحية الأخلاقية التي يدعو القرآن إلى التلبّس بها لتهذيب النفوس وتزكيتها.
-ثالثاً: الناحية الحياتية العملية، وهي التي تتناول الأحكام التي تنظم علاقة الفرد بربّه وبنفسه وبغيره من الأفراد وبمجتمعه ككلّ.
وأسفنا الوحيد هو أن هذا التفسير لم يأتنا كاملاً، فاقتصرنا منه على ما وصلنا، وما الكمال إلا لله وحده.
