ويتناول الفصل الثاني هيئات الجودة والإعتماد متمثلة في هيئات التقويم والإعتماد، أما الفصل الثالث فيتناول أدوات ضمان الجودة والإعتماد، ويتناول الفصل الرابع قياس الأداء فيعرِّف به ويبين أهميته وفوائده وإستخداماته وأساليبه وإتجاهاته الحديثة.
ويختص الفصل السادس بالقياسات الإلكترونية وتطبيقاتها في مرافق المعلومات، أما الفصل السابع فهو يستعرض تطبيقات إدارة الجودة الشاملة في مرافق المعلومات العربية بأنواعها المختلفة فضلاً عن قواعد البيانات.
وينتهي الكتاب بالفصل الثامن الذي خُصص للجودة والإعتماد لأقسام المكتبات والمعلومات، وقد تناول هيئات الإعتماد الأكاديمي والإعتماد ومعاييره على المستويات الدولية والإقليمية والمحلية.
