عهد إلينا المستشار وجدي عبد الصمد نائب رئيس محكمة النقض ورئيس نادي القضاة السابق بتأليف كتاب في القضاء المستعجل وقاضي التنفيذ فاعتبرنا أن هذا التكليف شرف عظيم لنا لا نملك إلا الانصياع له، ذلك إننا تعودنا على أن نصدع لما نكلف به مادام فيه مصلحة القضاة، وعكفنا على البحث والدراسة مدة جاوزت السنتين بذلنا فيها هذا الجهد المتواضع والذي أثمر هذا الكتاب وقد شرحنا فيه جميع ما افترضناه من منازعات يختص بها القضاء المستعجل سواء تلك التي تدخل في اختصاصه العام وفقًا لنص المادة 45 من قانون المرافعات والتي لا تقع تحت حصر أو تلك الاختصاصات التي نصت عليها قوانين خاصة. كذلك فقد شرحنا بتفصيل وإسهاب منازعات التنفيذ سواء الوقتية والموضوعية والتي أصبحت تحتل مركزًا بارزًا في العمل.
ونظرًا لأن المشرع ما لبث وأن أصدر قانون العمل الجديد رقم 12 لسنة 2013، والذي ألغى به قانون العمل السابق الذي كان يقضي باختصاص القضاء المستعجل بوقف تنفيذ قرار فصل العامل، وأتى القانون الجديد بأحكام مختلفة عن سابقه تمامًا، فكان من الضروري أن نتناول هذا الأمر بوضوح في هذه الطبعة لأهميته، فجاءت هذه الطبعة مختلفة عن سابقتها في هذا الخصوص.
