يضم هذا الكتاب متنُ منظومة حِرِزِ الأماني ووجهش التهاني في القراءات السبع، أقدِّمُه لأهلِ القرآن الكريم محقَّقاً مصحَّحاً وفق قواعد إخراج النُّصوصِ التي ارتضاها أئمَّتُنا.
وقد رجعتُ في تصحيح النصِّ إلى عدَّة نُسخ خطيَّة، بالإضافة إلى عددٍ من شروحِ الشاطبيَّة المطبوعةِ والمخطوطة لكبارِ أئمَّة القرَّاء، وقد اتبعتُ في تحقيقها المنهج التالي: قمتُ بكتابةِ نصِّ المنظومة وفق قواعد الإملاء الحديثة، إلاَّ الكلمات القرآنية قد كتبتُها على الرسم العثمانيِّ، وضبطتُها على الضبط القرآني.
استعملتُ علاماتِ الترقيمِ في إيضاحِ معنى الأبياتِ ما استطعتُ إلى ذلك سبيلاً، التزمتُ بوضعِ عشرة أبياتِ في الصفحةِ الواحدةِ، علَّقتُ على ما يحتاجُ إلى التعليق من الأبياتِ، وخاصَّةً المواضع التي نصَّ المُحرِّرون على خروج الشاطبيِّ فيها عن طريقه.
ألحقتُ بالمنظومةِ مُلحقَين يَخدُمان طالبَ العلم: أ-ملحقٌ شرحتُ فيه الغامضَ من كلماتِ المتنِ، مرتَّباً على حروفِ الهِجاءِ، حسبَ المادَّةِ المُعجَميَّةِ، ب-ملحقٌ ذكرتُ فيه الشواهدَ التي جاءتُ في غير سُوَرِها من المنظومةِ، مرتَّباً على سُوَرِ المُصحفِ، مع عَزوها إلى المواضع التي ذُكِرَت فيها سُورةً وبيتاً، أتبعتُ المنظومةَ بترجمةٍ مُوجزةٍ للإمامِ الشاطبي، وبذكرِ إسنادي إليه في روايةِ هذا المتن عنه.
