التوحيد هو جوهر الدين، وهو الشيء المشترك بين جميع الأنبياء وجميع الشرائع؛ ولذلك كان ضروريًا أن يهتم المسلمون بالتوحيد؛ لأنه جوهر الدين وحقيقته؛ ولب التوحيد وأساسه، وعماد التوحيد هو قول: لا إله إلا الله، ومعناها: إفراد الله تعالى بالعبادة، وتخصيصه بالقصد والإرادة، وإثبات كل كمال له تعالى، ونفي كل نقص عنه سبحانه، والتوجه إليه والاعتماد عليه دون سائر المخلوقات، وهذا اعتقاد وإيمان في القلب، ولا بد أن تصدق أفعال الجوارحِ إيمانَ القلوب، فمن قال: لا إله إلا الله بلسانه ونقضها بأفعاله لم ينفعه قولها. ولأهمية هذا الموضوع لكل مسلم، بل لكل إنسان ينشد الحق ويبحث عنه، أَلف الحافظ الشيخ العلامة «ابن رجب الحنبلي» كتاب: «كلمة الإخلاص وتحقيق معناها»، وهو كتاب صغير في حجمه عظيم في قدره. ويسعدنا أن نقدمه إلى القراء الأعزاء؛ عسى أن ينتفع به كل من يطلع عليه.
