إنه من دواعي السرور أن تُهيَّأ الفرصة، بتقدير المولى عزّ وجلّ، لأن تقوم بعمل تحقيق لمجموعات من الرسائل الصوفية المخطوطة، ولا يخفى أن هذا الأمر راود المحقّق كثيراً، إذ في تجميع عدد من الرسائل وتحقيقها حكمة عليا من الباري سبحانه وتعالى، وهي أن يبسط المحقق بين يدي القارئ مجموعة من الآراء والأفكار المختصرة، وربما الكاملة - في تنوع الرسالة - فإنه سبحانه قد منّ على المحقّق بالعمل في الرسائل كثيراً، وخاصة أثناء نشر رسائل الشيخ الأكبر محيي الدين بن عربي، فقد حقق له وحده ما يقرب من مائة رسالة، ويزيد.
فاكتشف أثناء ذلك أن كل رسالة يمكن أن تستقل بنفسها من حيث فكرتها وطبيعة منهجها وطبيعة موضوعها كذلك، وتكون مع مثيلاتها لنفس المؤلف، فهي في وحدة خاصة، ووحدة عامة مع غيرها من الرسائل لنفس المؤلف، فانظر كم تعطي هذه الرسائل المتعددة الأفكار عن المؤلف الواحد، وكم يكون تجلي الحق عليه، وتجدده إذا علمنا أن تجليات الحق سبحانه وتعالى متجددة لا تتوقف، بما بالك أن تكون هذه الوسائل لمجموعة مختلفة من المؤلفين إذا كان هذا هو الشأن مع مؤلف واحد.
فكل مؤلف هنا له مشرب مختلف عن الآخر، وتفكير مخصوص، لذلك من الضروري التعرف على هذا التنوع في الأفكار والمشارب، فإنك ستلتقي مع عدد من المؤلفين هم عشرة لعشر رسائل، انظر المفتتح أو الفهرس ليقول لك أهمية ذكر هؤلاء العشرة، ثم إنّ هذه الرسائل تتحدث في موضوع واحد فلها جميعاً بالرغم من تعددها وحدة واحدة وهي التصوف.
