وللأسف لم تحضى هذه العمليات بالتغطية المناسبة مما سبب ضياع تفاصيلها وأصبحت فقط عناوين تذكر للأجيال التي لم تعاصر تلك الأحداث، كالقصف الروسي للعتبة الرضوية، تهديم بقيع الغرقد، قصف العتبتين الحسينية والعباسية وغيرها من العلمليات.
بدورنا حاولنا أن نجمع بعض التفاصيل حول عملية تفجير العتبة العسكرية المقدسة عام 2006م، حتى تكون شاهد للتاريخ على ما جرى في تلك الفترة العصيبة التي تزامنت مع الاحتلال الأمريكي للعراق، مساهمةً منا في حفظ تاريخ العتبات وما تعرضت له من عمليات تخريبيـّة، كي ننقلها لكل من لم تصل له تفاصيل الأحداث.
