للقصص أهمية كبيرة في حياة الطفل، حيث تلعب دورًا هامًا في بناء شخصيته كما أن كثير من الأطفال يأخذ العظة والعبرة مما يقرأ من القصص وخصوصًا القصص الهادفة المرشدة للخلق الحميد والقيم الأخلاقية السامية، فتؤثر القصة على شخصية الطفل عندما يكبر من خلال تفاعله مع المجتمع الذي يحيا فيه حيث يستلهم منها القيم والمفاهيم التي عاشها في طفولته، فدائمًا نرى الطفل يحاول تطبيق المثل التي تعلمها من القصص حتى ولو على المستوى اللاشعوري، كذلك نرى الطفل عندما يسمع قصة الرجل الفقير ويتأثر بها فهو يبادر في مد يد العون والمساعدة للمحتاج أو الفقير فيما بعد، لأن القصة لها تأثير فعال في برمجة نفسية الطفل ليتصرف تبعًا لهذه البرمجة كذلك عندما يمر بقصص توضح عاقبة الأفعال المشينة فإنه لا إراديًا يبتعد عن تلك الأفعال والصفات السيئة.
وها هنا نقدم لأطفالنا قصص إسلامية توضح لنا وصايا رسول الله "صلى الله عليه وسلم" مستمدة من الأحاديث النبوية لرسولنا الكريم "صلى الله عليه وسلم".
