لقد حان الوقت للإلتفات إلى ذلك الجانب الأرضي المُقصى من التفكير، والمطرود من خانة الإهتمامات الجمعية بوصفه ينتمي لكل ما هو يومي وعابر وزائل ولزج، وأن يُترك قليلاً وكثيراً أيضاً هذا التعلق بالماورائيات، والتمسك بالقضايا النظرية الكبرى والكُليّة، التي في الكثير من الأحيان ولّدت صراعات لا يمكن للكثير من الأطراف حسمها أو تفنيدها تفنيداً واضحاً ومعقولاً.
لذلك يأتي التركيز هنا على الإقتصاد، ليس بالمعنى المحاسباتي التقليدي، بل بالمعنى الفلسفي الواسع للكلمة، من حيث إنّ الإقتصاد لا يقتصر على الجانب الفردي الضيق (منزل، فرد، محل تجاري)، بل يمتد لتلك العلاقات الواسعة بين الأشخاص والأيديولوجيات المختلفة، وبينهم وبين مناطق إهتماماتهم وتهميشهم للكثير من الأيديولوجيات الأخرى.
كما يمتد أيضاً لتلك العلاقات المعقدة بين الدول والشعوب في الكثير من الأحيان، وطريقة تشكيل الكثير من الرؤى الوجودية بناءً على هذا الجانب.
إنّ الإهتمام بهذا الجانب يعني فهم الكثير من الأمور والقضايا (الإنتصارات والهزائم، النكوص والتقدم) من جانب آخر ومن زوايا مختلفة، وربط الكثير مما يحدث حولنا بالأرض، بالإنسان، وبالإستراتيجيات التي لا تظهر للجميع، وبتلك التحالفات الخفية التي سيتم التفكير فيها لاحقاً.
يضعنا هذا الجانب أمام الكثير من المفاهيم المتداولة، والمنتشرة، والتي تُستخدم إستخداماً مثاليّاً سلبيّاً في الكثير من الأحيان، ففي سياق هذه التحليلات ممن الممكن التطرق إلى مفاهيم العدالة والإنسان والقانون وغيرها من المفاهيم، واعتبارها تنتمي لهذا الجانب الأرضي من التفكير، وليست مرتبطة بالمواقف الميتافيزيقية التي تتسم في الكثير من الأحيان بالضبابية وعدم الوضوح، وبعدم إمكانية التحقق والتفنيد.
