هذا الكتاب:
-يُميط اللّثام عن بعض ما قدّمهُ أئمَةُ المالكيّةِ في خِدمةِ "أحاديث الأحكام" (تصنيفاً، وشرحاً، وتأصيلاً، وتخريجاً).
- ويَكشفُ عن جهودٍ مُشرّفة للمدرسة المالكيّة في خدمة السّنَة التشريعيّة، حيثُ كان (موطّأ الإمام مالك) رائداً في كتب الأحكام المصنّفة على الأبواب، وحازت مَوسُوعة عبدِ الحق الإشبيلي (الكبرى، والوسطى، والصغرى) قصب السبْق في هذا الفن.
-أمّا شروح الصحيحين فحافلةٌ بكثرة النقول فيها عن أئمّة المذهب، مثل: الداودي، والصفاقسي، وابن بطّال، والمازري، وعياض، وابن عبد البّر، والقرطبي...).
-ومع كثرة هذه الجهود المالكيّة في خدمة "أحاديث الأحكام"، فقد اشتهرت أعمال المدارس الأخرى، وبقيت الأصول المالكيّة المعتمدة في النقل مغمورة، إلى أن حُقِّقّ بعضها في عصرنا، واكتشف الناس الآثار العلميّة المُعتبرة، التي أنتجتها المدرسة المالكيّة في علم "أحاديث الأحكام".
