"الورقاء" مجموعة شعرية رائعة للشاعرة اللبنانية وضحاء فخري، تجمع فيها شاعرتنا الكل الحب والوطن والثورة والتغيير والغربة والأمل والحنين والغضب والمواجهة والتحدي والمصير المشترك. فهذا الشعر ليس كأي شعر نقرأه، خطته الشاعرة بأناملها الرقيقة وروحها الفياضة في الغربة عندما كانت الحرب الأهلية مشتعلة في بلدها وعشقها لبنان الحبيب. مع وضحاء فخري، تتخلى الصورة المرة لحكايات الحرب والحب معاً، تحكي الشاعرة ألمها وتجسده شعراً في قصائد تحكي قصة الألم والغربة حيث يمتزج دم الشهداء يشعر الشعراء ليصل إلينا لحناً شعبياً يؤكد كل في يوم أن نبض الشعوب لا يمكن له إلا أن يستمر. تقول في قصيدة عنونتها بـ "ريح السموم": هاجت وغاصت بالدماء/ وفي سمائها تلبدت الغيوم/ في الشمال صواريخ تقصف/ وفي الجنوب طائرات تحوم/ تعصف فيها وترديها فلا في الشرق/ ولا في الغرب تحميها تخوم/ وفي قلبها النابض في بيروت/ ضغينة وحقود وعالم محموم. أما إذا أرجنا الإستمتاع بالفن اللبناني الأصيل، فلا بد لنا من قراءة فصلاً كاملاً خطته شاعرتنا في الزجل. "الورقاء" مجموعة شعرية هامة جمعت ما بين ماض ولى، وحاضر أرادته معاً لكل معاني الإنسانية والإخاء بين أبناء البلد الواحد ترجمته شاعرتنا فناً أصيلاً نتعرف إليه حين قراءتنا لشعرها الخلاق.
