ونبدأ في كتابنا بمقدمة عن القناعات التي تحكم سلوكياتنا وتعريفها ودورنا تجاهها ثم نتناول بعضاً من هذه القناعات، كيف هي في عقولنا؟ ، وكيف يمكن أن نستبدلها بقناعات أخرى أكثر إيجابية تساعدنا على بناء علاقة أقوى مع من حولنا؟ ، علاقة أكثر إفادة لنا وللآخرين.
