لميس المرزوقي هي كاتبة وفنانة تشكيلية إماراتية ولدت في عام 1977 بأبوظبي، حاصلة على بكالوريوس التربية، وصدر لها ديوان شعر بعنوان “شفاه أيبسها الرعب”، ولها رواية تحت الطبع بعنوان “رائحة الطين”

تتناول رواية "حدثتنا ميرة" في لغة شعرية فترة تكون وعي طفلة ما بين المدرسة والمكتبة والحي الذي نشأت فيه، حيث ترصد ميرة الواقع المحيط بها، فهي "لم تكتف بأن تكون عينها للإبصار فقط، بل رصدت كل شيء وحاولت قدر استطاعتها أن تحتفظ بشيء من طفولتها حتى اليوم".
وعبر فترة زمنية تمتد من ثمانينات القرن العشرين وحتى الآن ترصد الكاتبة بعيون الطفلة ميرة، تارة، وعيون الراوية، تارة أخرى، تطورات المجتمع الإماراتي وتحولاته، مقدمة مشاهد مفعمة بالخصوصية من هذا الواقع وبشره وعاداته ومفرداته.
