هذا الكتاب هو الجزء الثالث من سكب العبرات في مجالس الأئمة الهداة، أخواتي قراء العزاء منذ أن حدثت وقعة الطف المريرة التي تلازم معها البكاء والحزن الشديد على أبي عبد الله وكل من أحب الحسين يقول (يا ليتنا كنا معكم) فهذه الكلمة المعهودة التي دائماً نرددها وجميع المؤمنين يقولونها والعظام المكرّمين عند الله وكذلك قراء وخدام الحسين، ولكن أخواتي عندما نقول (يا ليتنا كنا معكم) هذه الكلمة تحثّنا أن نكون مع الحسين في كل كلمة تقرؤها وتحسّها.
