وما زال الناس فى الجبل يتناقلون سيرة مليحة موصوفة عاشت فى زمن الأتراك؛ وحيدة لأبوين عاشقين، طٌلبت غرة لرجل هفية من عصبة بطاشين أرذل سقط لهم قتيل فى طوشة مع أهل المليحة. وفى الحكاية تزينت المليحة زينة أميرة، وارتدت أجمل ما لديها من ثياب، ودخلت على أبيها: كيف ترانى يا أبى!؟ كست الفجيعة بدن الرجل وارتجف ولم يحرك ساكناً.. واصلت المليحة: - يأخذونى مفشة غل ومنقع سم، وآتيهم بولد من ظهر هفية؟! صرخ الرجل صرخة المبهوظ وهبط ولم يقم، فهجت المليحة واستجارت بسارى ليل تصادف مروره فى الوادى.. وقيل أن أهلها تفرقوا فى شعاب الأرض خوفاً من البطش وخزياً من معيار العروس الهاربة…
