وفي هذا الكتاب، الذي منع من الحضور في بلدان عربية يظهر الاهتمام بما هو كامن ومحتمل أو بالوعي غير المتحقق، وبالأماني والاسقاطات للأنا الصوفية. قرأ المؤلف الكرامة الصوفية عبر جلسات تحليلية عديدة رأت الرمز بعدد حقيقته، والواقع النفسي يؤثر كالواقع العيني والحسيات والأسباب مخبأة وراء ما يقدمه الصوفي على أنه فوق سببيه وغير خاضع للحتمية. والمخيلة منطلقة بأجنحة قديرة... الكرامة ردود، واستجابات لفظية أو غير مباشرة، وحلم يقظوي، وحلم ليلي، وتشبيه ومجاز، وعطاء لا واع، وحكاية واستعارة، وفعل لا إرادي، ومن هنا تبدو الكرامة ذات وجهين في راس واحد، وحقيقة ذات مظهرين او ثوبين، ولغة خاصة وعامة أو عميقة وسطحية معاً.
