تسحق أرواح أهل البلد تحت ضغط ماكينة القمع الرهيبة ما يخلق وحوشا حقيقية تحول ذلك البلد إلى غابة.
عمل ملحمى عن الكراهية والخوف وما يفعلانه بالإنسان, عن الحب والحقد, عن الخير والشر داخل البشر, رواية لن تنساها بعد قراءتها.
