لقد حفرت الكاتبة في النصوص، تستخرج المعاني المخبّأة فيها، وغاصت عميقاً في اللغة، تستنطق الأساطير والمرويات. لقد قدّمت مقاربة جمالية تروم الوقوف على الأسرار الفنية، التي توخّتها النصوص المقدسة في تشكيل صورة الجسد، وفي فهم الدلالات التي ينفتح عليها هذا النص.
كما رصدت تلوّن المشهد في النص، عندما تنوّعت أنماط الكتابة فيه بين الوصف، والسرد، والحوار؛ وحين عبّر بلغة صوفية مرّة، وحسية مرة أخرى، يشي بهما الجسد من كونه مبتلاً باللذة يتدبرها بشتى السبل؛ بعشق الجمال، والفتنة بالتزيين، والغواية، والإغراء؛ إلى كونه محل المراقبة والعقاب وصنوف العذاب من السلطة.
كما بيّنت أن العلاقة بين الحشد والألوهة لم تكن علاقة مدنّس بمقدّس؛ بل هي علاقة تكامل وحاجة، فقد أثبت تاريخ التجربة الدينية أن الجسد هو القالب الأثير، الذي صبّت فيه الشعوب القديمة تصوّرها عن الألوهة، وأنه يتقدس ويسمو حين يستحيل وثناً معبوداً.
ظل الجسد، طوال عصور مشرقية طويلة، موطن الخطيئة والفساد، والغواية والإغراء، والمراقبة والقمع والمعاقبة، والخصوبة والعقم، محاطاً بكثير من الأوامر والنواهي، ولم يُنظر إليه إلا باعتباره الضدّ المدنّس للروح ذات المصدر العلوي المقدس، غير أن تطور العلوم، وانفتاح المعرفة، في العصور الحديثة، أعادا الإعتبار إليه.
