ولذا فإن هذا الكتاب يتناول إرهاصات الحرب اليمنية وقدر رأيت أن يكون التطرق للحرب في الجنوب والذي يعتبر في مقدمة الأسباب إن لم يكن أبرزها في تفاقم الأزمة وإستفحالها متناولاً توجهات كل أطرافها من وجهة ما يدور في الساحة الجنوبية ومدى قرب كل طرف من قضية الجنوب ورويته للجنوب الأرض والإنسان ومن ثم ما ترتب على ذلك من موقف جنوبي تجاه هذه الحرب والشرعية اليمنية التي أيدتها كل القوة الجنوبية والمشاركة في السلطة ودور التحالف في تحرر عدن وبقية المحافظات وما نجم عنه من علاقة مع المقاومة والجيش الجنوبي وروية مدى إنعكاس هذه العلاقة على الهدف التحرري الذي قاتلت كل التوجهات الجنوبية تحت لوائه وحملت أعلامه الألوية القتالية التي تشكلت بدعم من التحالف العربي بقيادة السعودية وإشراف إمارتي مباشر.
