بعث الله الأنبياء إلى البشر بهديه وشرائعه، تنساب من خلال سيرتهم العطرة صورة العبادة الصحيحة، وكذا صورة التعامل الحق بين العالمين فإختار الله من عباده صفوتهم ومن البشر أذكاهم وأخيرهم وإصطفاهم وهيأ كل نبي في خلقه وخٌلقه وعلمه وحكمته بما يتناسب من بعث إليهم ثم هو سبحانه يفضل بعضهم على بعض، وخص كل نبي بتعامل وتكليف وإبتلى كل نبي بقومه.
ثم هو سبحانه وتعالى يفصل لنا في كتابه أيما تفصيل عنهم وجاءت الأخبار المتصلة السند إلى النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم بسيرتهم فمنهم من أجمل ذكره ومنهم من فصل ذكره ومنهم من قصه الله علينا، ومنهم من لم يقصص ثم جعل ذلك كله لنا عبرة فلم يكن عيثا من القول يقال وليس ضربا من الخيال يتلى ولا هو إفتراء.
ولقد رأيت أن أتعرض لجملة الأخبار التي وصلت إلينا مرفوعة إلى نبي الله والسراج المنير خاتم الأنبياء المرسلين. وأن أحقق ما ثبت رفعه إلى النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم أملا أن أضيف فائدة إلى ذلك الجزء المتصل بقصص الأنبياء من سيرتهم الطبية العطرة مقتطعا إياه من كتاب البداية والنهاية للحافظ بن كثير. إمضاء: محمد أحمد عبد العزيز
