تدرك وأنت تقرأ سطور الكتاب أن قصص التاريخ واحدة في ملامحها، وأن التفاصيل فقط هي التي تختلف، ولكن يغفل الكثيرون عن استيعاب دروس التاريخ فيكررون نفس الأخطاء متناسين لحظة إسدال الستار، ويا لها من لحظة تسقط فيها الأقنعة وتضيع فيها الهيبة وتتلاشى فيها قيمة الثروة فتهان الكرامة، وتبقى كلمة النهاية للتاريخ الذي لا يستمع لمبررات من لا يعقلون دروسه.
