"ناس وحكايا" هو مجموعة من القصص القصيرة التي تتناول أحداث وأناس من واقع الحياة وتضيء على النواحي الإجتماعية والإنسانية للمجتمع اللبناني عامة وأبناء المناطق الجبلية خاصة.
تعود وقائع هذه القصص إلى ثلاثينيات القرن العشرين وحتى مطلع القرن الحالي. وشخصيات هذه الأحداث حقيقية وقد أضيفت إلى سياق النص بعض النفحات الأدبية لإضفاء صور جمالية على أسلوب الكتابة.
كنت أختزن هذه القصص في ذاكرتي منذ صغري وعايشت بعضاً منها ونقلت البعض الآخر من صديق إلى جار أو قريب، وما دعاني إلى كتابتها هو تعلقي بالقيم الإجتماعية التي تربيت عليها.
