والكتاب (فى منهجه وفى أسلوب معالجته لطرق الأداء) اعتمد فى عمليات الرصد والتصنيف والتحليل، على مادة أصيلة مجموعة جمعا ميدانيا موثقا، ولهذا فإنه يلبى حاجة علمية وفنية تتطلبها الحياة الثقافية فى مصر والعالم العربي، ويسعى إلى إشاعة التناول المنهجى المستنير لأسس القيم الفنية والجمالية للذائفة المصرية، وهو بهذا يتماس مع قطاعات واسعة من الرأى العام العلمي والثقافى.
