سبق لي أنني وضعت مبحث لآلة الناي بعنوان (آلة الناي ونشأة الموسيقى وتطورها) وهذا المبحث نظري يستطيع من خلاله الباحث أن يتعرف على آلة الناي منذ بداية نشأتها التاريخية حيث أنني لم أجد بحثاً خاصة لألة الناي، اللهم مقالات متناثرة في عدة كتب وليست بالمعلومات الوفيرة عن آلة الناي حتى يتحقق البعد النظري لآلة الناي، ومما لا شك فيه أن الأونة الأخيرة قد تطورت الموسيقى بشكل كبير وخاصة الموسيقى العربية وكان لزامًا علي أن أضع منهج تعليمي لآلة الناي يتوافق والتطور الموسيقي وخاصة التطور في أداء آلة الناي حيث اتسم الأداء الحالي بالصعوبة والتعقيد أكثر من ذي قبل، وبهذا يتحقق البعد العملي والدراسي لآلة الناي، وأود أن أشير إلى كل دارس للآلة بإمكانه أن يصبح استاذاً لآلة الناي عند الإنتهاء من التدريبات التي يحتويها كتاب (معرفة دراسة آلة الناي) حيث لم يوضع لآلة الناي قالب دراسي مثل هذا من قبل وكان هذا أحد الأسباب التي جعلتني أقوم بوضع هذا المنهج في هذا القالب الدراسي لآلة الناي، وخلاصة تجربتي العملية الخاصة مع آلة الناي، وبهذا كان واجب علي وواجباً على كل ذو علم أن يعلمة ولذا فوجدت أن أمثل الطرق بل وأفضلها أن أضع كل ما لدي في كتاب يضم كل التدريبات الخاصة بآلة الناس سواء للمبتدئين وحتى المحترفين لآلة الناي.
