لا أنسى ولن أنسى دور الألتراس في الثورة، وحين طلبت مني صحيفة الجارديان البريطانية أن أحدثها عن دور الألتراس في الثورة رحبت وتحدثت بحب وترحاب، وحين طلبت مني صحيفة الإيكيب الفرنسية الرياضية المتخصصة أن أتحدث عن الألتراس ودورهم في الشارع السياسي رحبت وشرحت.
فالثورة في لحظتها- وحين كانت ثورة- لم تكن سياسة، وإنما كانت نداء شعب على العيش والحرية والعدالة الاجتماعية، نداء يطول بطول الزمن والعمر، أما السياسة فهي ليست الثورة، ولكنها فن الممكن، ويؤسفني أن يستغل هذا الشباب بصورة أو بأخرى فيما هو ممكن في لحظة أو في فترة!
.. أدخل هؤلاء الشباب شكلًا جديدًا للتشجيع في ملاعب كرة القدم، وهم من طلبة الجامعات والمدارس، ويحتلون طبقات مختلفة، وكانت البداية مع روابط المشجعين، ثم سيطرت مبادئ وأفكار الألتراس، وانتشرت جماعاتهم، وازدانت المدرجات بألوانهم المبهجة، وبدخلاتهم التي تسمى "آل تيفو"، وهو جنون الكرة، كما يسميه الإيطاليون والأسبان، ولكن هذا الجنون يتضمن تجاوزات، فبعض الهتافات التي تؤلف لمناسبات ومباريات وشخصيات تحمل إساءات، وهم يرون في ذلك كفاحًا ضد ظلم، أو ردًا على استبداد، ولكني آسف أن تستهلك طاقة هؤلاء الشباب في سلبيات، وكنت أحلم أن تستخدم في إيجابيات تجعل مباريات كرة القدم ومدرجاتها أكثر بهجة وحيوية وسعادة.
الانتماء قيمة بناءة، والانتماء عصبية وقوة، وليس تعصبًا، وكرة القدم تفجر هذا الانتماء وتطهره، وتلك هي الطاقة الإيجابية في قلوب جماعات الألتراس، إلا أن تلك الطاقة تكون سلبية في أحيان أخرى.
