هذه هي الطبعة الثانية من "الأرجوزة المِيئِيَّة في ذكر حال أشرف البرية"، نُعيد نشرَها بعد مُضِيّ نحو اثني عشر عاماً على صدور طبعتها الأولى.
وقد انتشرت هذه الأرجوزة - والله الحمد - إنتشاراً عظيماً، وصارت من القصائد السائرة، وشرَحها العديدُ من المشايخ والعلماء، وحفِظها الآلاف من الطلبة، وأُجْرِيَت فيها المسابقات، وأَنشدَها بعضُ المنشدين المُجِيدين.
بل إنني وقفت على إستبانة في أحد الملتقيات حَول أحسن، وأسهل نظمٍ في السيرة النبوية، فكانت هذه المنظومة هي صاحبة المرتبة الأولى.
ولا غرابةَ في ذلك، فإنها قد جَمعت بين الإختصار في عَدد أبياتها، والسلاسةِ والجمال في ألفاظها، والإستيعاب لأُمَّات موضوعات السيرة النبوية، مع حُسنِ سياقتها وترتيبها، وإمامةِ ناظمها في العلم والسنَّة، وصحِة المعتقد.
فجاءت بحقِّ فُصولاً مختصرةً وحسَنة متتابعة؛ كما وصفَها ناظمُها في مَطلعها بقوله: "سيرة الرسول منظومة مُوْجَزَة الفُصول"، وهي مائة بيتٍ من أزكى السير لأشرف البشر، كما قال الناظم في خاتمتها: "الأُرْجُوزة المِئيَّة في ذكر حالٍ أَشرفِ البَرِيَّةِ".
