يا أحباب الأقصى وحماة المسرى في كل مكان، سنتحدث في هذا الكتاب حول أناس وطئت أقدامهم ثرى بيت المقدس، ورجال سابقتهم قلوبهم وأرواحهم إلى بيت المقدس، شغفاً وحباً وعشقاً وولاءً ووفاءً وانتماءً، بيت المقدس هي أرض الأنبياء، وقد قال إبن عباس رضي الله عنهما : إنما سُمّيت بيت المقدس بيت المقدس لأنه ما من نبي إلا وقد أتى بيت المقدس، أو كأقل تقدير ما من نبي من أنبياء بني إسرائيل إلا وقد أتى بيت المقدس، لذلك سُميت هذه الأرض بيت المقدس أرض الطهارة.
سنكون مع كوكبة من الأنبياء، نتكلم فيها عن علاقة الأنبياء مع بيت المقدس، وبعد الكلام عن الأنبياء سنتكلم بإشراقة وضيئة نيّرة حول علاقة الحبيب محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم مع هذه الأرض الطيبة المباركة، وكيف ربطنا ببيت المقدس، وكيف علق قلوبنا وأرواحنا بها، وكيف ربط حاضرنا وماضينا ومستقبلنا بهذه الأرض؟
ثم بعد ذلك سنكون مع كوكبة من نجوم الإسلام، مع قافلة عظيمة من إعلام الإسلام الذين لا أقول أن القدس قد تشرّفت بهم بقدر ما أنهم تشرفوا بأنهم جاؤوا القدس ، وازدان كل منهما بالآخر.
