يبدأ الأمر عادةً هكذا: رجفةٌ خفيفةٌ لا تلبثُ أنْ تشتدّ شيئاً فشيئاً، مثلما هو الشأنُ بعد شتيمةٍ تلقّيناها دون أن نُرُدَّ عليها.
العبارةُ تُساوِي الردَّ المتأخَر أو الإعتداء المُرجَأ، أكتُبُ كي لا أقع في ردِّ الفعلِ المُباشر وكي أتجنَّبَ أزمة؛ العبارةُ تنفيس، ثأرٌ غير مباشر يحقّقه من لا يستطيع أن يصبرَ على إهانة وليس له غير الكلام كي ينتفض على أشباهه وعلى نفسه.
