يحتفي هذا الكتاب بالفنان الإماراتي عبد القادر الريّس في معرضه الفني الاستعادي 2018 - 2019 "عبد القادر الريّس: 50 عاماً من الفن'' الذي أقيم في منارة السعديات، أبوظبي. وهو عبارة عن عرض شامل لحياة وأعمال أحد أهم رواد الفن التشكيلي. وتضم فصول كتاب "عبد القادر الريّس: 50 عاماً من الفن" موضوعات لوحاته المختلفة، مثل الشخصيات الريادية، والوطن، والأرض والسماء، والناس والوقت، والانطباعات والتجريد والحروفيات. كما نتابع من خلال الكتاب تطور أسلوب الريّس من الأعمال التصويرية المبكرة إلى اللوحات الأحدث من التجريد الخطي. ويستكشف هذا الكتاب أيضاً الأحداث الرئيسية في العقود الخمسة الماضية من منظور الفنان والتأثيرات الفكرية والاجتماعية والسياسية على عمله. كما يقدّم مقالتين للقيّمتين الفنيتين ميساء القاسمي، وسارة بن صفوان ومقالاً ثالثاً للفنان والناقد علي العبدان. إضافة إلى ذلك، يعرض مقابلة مع الريّس ومقابلة منفصلة مع صديقه وزميله الفنان الكويتي سامي محمد مع سلطان القاسمي من مؤسسة بارجيل للفنون.
