صممت هذه السلسلة القرائية لتناسب صغار المتعلمين ممن لديهم مشكلات قرائية بسيطة. تعتمد على بنية الجملة البسيطة القصيرة. تعتمد على معجم مركزي من الكلمات الأساسية التي تقع في قائمة أكثر الكلمات دورانًا في العربية. تعتمد على استراتيجية التكرار، فمعظم الكلمات تتكرر في النص مرتين إلى ما يقارب ٦-٨مرات لتساعد الطفل على الطلاقة في القراءة والإلف بالكلمات. تعتمد على ما أثبتته الدراسات العلمية من أن الطفل إذا تمكن من حزمة أساسية من الكلمات فإن عملية تعلمه اللغة تأخذ بالتسارع شيئًا فشيئًا. وإن ثقته في نفسه وقدرته القرائية تتحسن بشكل ملحوظ.
