ما زال النحو العربي في حاجة ماسة إلى النظر فيه لاستخلاص كثير من ضوابطه التي يمكن أن يقدمها تأمل ما وراد فيه من مقولات وأحكام ومازالت الجملة العربية موضوعًا شديد الأهمية متجدد الحيوية قادرًا على إضافة الجديد في نطاق ما ورد فيه من أحكام نحوية بالرغم من كثرة ما عرض له هذا الموضوع وما قدم فيه في التراث النحوي من ناحية وفي البحوث الحديثة من ناحية أخرى.
