مدينة القدس غاضبة وهي لا تستطيع السكوت إلى الأبد، في أحشائها يمور ألف بركان، إنها المدينة التي تأبى أن تسلم لأحد مفاتيحها، تاريخها، أسوارها، مأذن قبابها، كنائسها أزقتها، كل شيء فيها يقول ذلك، مدينة تأبى الخضوع، وحيدة تسرج خيولها، تجود بدم أبنائها بدون حساب، تدفع ثمن خطيئة آدم الأول دون أن تعتذر، هكذا هي القدس اليوم وفي كل يوم، لم يعد سموحاً السكوت على إستباحة الأعداء لها في كافة مناحي حياتها، صحيح أن أناسها لا يملكون السلاح كما لا يملكون زمام المبادرة بمناجزة الأعداء، ولكنهم يملكون ما هو أثمن من ذلك يملكون الإرادة الحرة في الذود عن مدينتهم بأجسادهم ولحم أطفالهم، ومن يملك هذا السلاح قد يقهر مؤقتاً، قد يتراجع نحو الخطوط الخلفية ولكنه لم ولن يموت.
