Ces révolutions ont déstabilisé l’ordre des relations Nord-Sud, et ont contraint l’Europe prendre en consideration les orientations de l’opinion publique arabe. L’aspiration à la démocratie que les peoples arabes manifestent aujourd’hui remet en cause des politiques pratiquées par les gouvernements occidentaux ainsi que leur mansuétude envers les dictateurs arabes.
Ben Ali l’allié de l’Occident, Kadhafi le repenti à qui il faut venir en aide, ou Moubarak le sage, tous, malgré leur dictature poussiéreuse et archaïque, ont connu "Leur heure de gloire" dans les capitals occidentals, et une place de choix aux côtés de grads dirigeants mondiaux.
Les peuples arabes restaient ébahis devant les declarations contradictoires des dirigeants français. Faisant l’éloge de la Révolution française et des Droits de l’homme, ils "commerçaient", flattaient et vendaient des armes à ces dictateurs. L’opinion publique française ell-même s’étonnait d’une telle compromission. Au sein de ces dictatures, la presse censurée restait incapable d’empêcher ces échanges contre-nature.
Dépréciée, l’opinion publique exprimée à travers la "rue arabe" s’est enfin reveille pour balayer ces régimes, et instaurer de nouvelles relations avec l’Occident, et notamment la France. Pourquoi ces révolutions ont-elles eu lieu? Comment se sont elles développées? Qui sont ces héros inconnus? Quel rôle ont joué les nouvelles technologies de la communication, Facebook, Twitter et les autres? Quelle sera la politique française face à ces révolution?.
